Holy Spirit is Given To…

The Holy Spirit was poured out upon the followers of Jesus (Acts 1:8; Acts 2:1-4) so the Holy Spirit himself could indwell believers to be His temple and house of residence in the earth. There are a variety of things the Holy Spirit does when believers are filled with Him and obediently release His presence to flow out of their lives.

1. The Holy Spirit is given to HELP US (Romans 8:26).

2. The Holy Spirit is also given to GUIDE US (John16:13)

3. The Holy Spirit is given to TEACH US (John 14:26)

4. The Holy Spirit is given to SPEAK (Acts 9:310) TO US (Revelation 2:7)

5. The Holy Spirit is given to us to REVEAL THINGS (1 Corinthians 2:10)

6. The Holy Spirit is given to us to INSTRUCT US (Acts 8:29)

7. The Holy Spirit is given to us to TESTIFY OF JESUS (John 15:26)

8. The Holy Spirit is given to us to COMFORT US (Acts 9:31)

9. The Holy Spirit is given to us to CALL US (Acts 13:2)

10. The Holy Spirit is given to us to FILL US (Acts 4:31)

11. The Holy Spirit is given to us to STRENGTHEN US (Ephesians 3:16)

12. The Holy Spirit is given to us to PRAY FOR US (Romans 8:26) "The Holy Spirit helps us in our weakness. For example, we don't know what God wants us to pray for. But the Holy Spirit prays for us with groanings that cannot be expressed in words."

13. The Holy Spirit is given to us and PROPHESIES THROUGH US (2 Peter. 1:21) "For prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, though human, spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit."
